Carousel is darker blue (closer to navy) than it appears in the picture. This sculptural piece is comprised of at least 10 layers of plaster and spackle on canvas. Meticulously sanded by hand until smooth and then painted. Carousel is hollow, allowing it to be lighter than it looks.
